REVENGE TRAVEL: Let’s get OUT there!
As someone who has spent more than 25+ years in the travel industry, I definitely spent the least amount of time “up in the air” than any other time. It wasn’t all bad. I am completely confident now with my cooking skills. And we are the very proud parents of the most adorable Jack Russell Terrier (who has never been away from us even for one night!).
I forgot how to spell FOMO, because there was never anything more exciting happening than a night at home eating a new Instant pot recipe or binging a show on Netflix. This past year has been one of the craziest times in our lifetime. Nobody on New Year’s Eve 2019, could’ve predicted that we would spend most of the following year at home.
But it’s finally happening. Now, with most of us getting vaccinated, the excitement to finally get back out there is off the chart! It’s almost like we are “taking revenge” on the coronavirus!
Revenge Travel: the idea that, after a year of being at home, people are going to get back at the pandemic, and actually get out there and live their best lives while traveling. Kind of like “Take that pandemic, I’m getting out!” - CBS Sunday Morning
