One Night in Miami and Back to Cruising!

It was finally time for my first venture back onto a large cruise ship. I was a bit hesitant, but was thrilled to set sail again.

My trip began with a lovely overnight in Miami Beach. I have been a fan of Salt Hotels for quite a while. Each of their properties has a unique personality that reflects its geographical location. Their newest hotel, The Greystone Hotel, did just that. From its amazing location to the stunning design, it was the perfect spot for my one night in Miami. Upon arrival, I checked in with a warm welcome from the front desk team and went to my room to drop off my luggage. My room amenities were delightful. The room was sleek and well-appointed. I was surprised to find that we had an outdoor terrace upstairs complete with hot tub and a seating area. So needless to say, I enjoyed my a glass complimentary bottle of champagne out in the sunshine before exploring further. The rooftop pool was perfect for a quick dip before heading to the jazz bar downstairs. The bar had delicious craft cocktails and offers live music, comedy and featured events nightly. This hotel is a true gem and a great retreat in the heart of Miami Beach.

That evening, we indulged in Cuban food at Havana 1957 with Vaca Frita and a Mojito. The next morning we had brunch at the delightful Little Hen which offered a wonderful menu in a gorgeous atmosphere. What a great find!

After brunch it was time to board the Celebrity Summit for a five-day sailing. Following all wellness protocols, Celebrity offered us a safe, fun and gorgeous cruise. We indulged in all of the specialty dining options and enjoyed all of the evening programming. The ship was immaculate and the crew was gracious and thrilled to be sailing again. Celebrity Cruises new offering of “the all inclusive experience” allowed us to enjoy complimentary cocktails, WIFI and included gratuities without having to worry about our bill at the end of the trip. It was truly amazing to be back at sea.

If you are interested in booking the Greystone Hotel, email me for special perks. If you are ready to sail again, I am happy to assist in finding the perfect cruise for you.
