Amazing Urban Retreat in the Heart of Brooklyn
During this crazy time, I know many of us in the tri-state area are searching for short and affordable retreats that are reachable via driving distance. After researching many different options that included a pool, we opted to venture to the Willam Vale Hotel in Willamsburg Brooklyn.
With their stunning water views of New York City and their rooftop pool, we felt like we were in an urban paradise. Our Gotham City King view was comfortable, well appointed with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning and watched the sunset with a glass of wine at night.
Our days consisted of lounging and swimming in their rooftop pool. Due to their new Covid safety policy, reservations are required at the pool, so do not forget to get them in advance! Reservations allow for 3 hours of complimentary pool time, or you can rent seating for the entire day. They are serving a delicious pool side dining menu to eat while you swim and lounge.
Speaking of Covid safety policies, the hotel is taking them very seriously with sanitization, mask-wearing and social distancing. We felt safe in all of their public spaces and in our room. They are happily supplying disposable masks and hand sanitizer to any guests that arrived unprepared.
Williamsburg Brooklyn has always been one of our favorite “stay-cation” spots when we want to get away. Many of our favorite restaurants were offering outdoor dining and some were well covered even in a rainstorm. Some of our favorites are listed below.
