The mission of the Family Equality Council is to advance the well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered parents and their families through mutual support, community collaboration, and public understanding.

Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit organization with over 200,000 members and supporters and almost 500 affiliates in the United States. This vast grassroots network is cultivated, resourced and serviced by the PFLAG national office, located in Washington, DC, the National Board of Directors and 14 Regional Directors.

ProudParenting.com serves as an online portal for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender parents and their families worldwide. Bringing family together by being the best on the Internet serving the needs and interests of the proud parenting community is our goal.

The HRC website provides information and resources on adoption, marriage, civil unions, coming out, custody and visitation, family law, parenting, schools, senior health and housing, and much more. This is the web's most comprehensive and up-to-date resource for GLBT people and their families.

Many of you know the incredible Michael Lee Scott since he has worked as entertainer, set designer, and RFV Team member on every single cruise from Canada to Galapagos. What you may not know is that he is an artist and designer when he is not cruisin’ with us. Visit his site to see his mind-blowing trompe l’oeil paintings. COLAGE is the only national and international organization in the world specifically supporting young people with gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender parents.

The mission of The Pop Luck Club is to advance the well-being of gay prospective parents, gay parents and their children. We do this through mutual support, community collaboration, and public understanding.

Rainbow Families' mission is to build a safe, just, and affirming world for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) families and our children.

Founded in 1996, Growing Generations is the oldest and largest surrogacy and egg donation firm dedicated to serving the gay and lesbian community.

Center Kids, which advocates at state and local levels for the rights of alternative families, has become a national and regional model for LGBT family organizing. Currently, more than 2,500 families in the tristate area utilize Center Kids programs.

Across Southern California, foster parents take in children from foster care to give them a loving, safe and comfortable home. Some of those children become part of their family forever. San Diego parent and retired Behavioral Technician, Stephanie White, knows that story all too well. She was able to foster and adopt seven sons with special needs with the right support system. In her own words, she shares her journey to becoming a foster parent, facing heartbreak, building her family––and ultimately discovering herself.

I remember the crying the most. There were a sobbing 7-year-old, a teary-eyed middle schooler, and even a glum collection of adults in the elevator with me. This is not how my vacations usually end. I saw sullen teenagers, too, a few exchanging phone numbers in the lobby, others doing one last dip in the pool with friends, all with an air of resignation. I assumed that after this long week of celebration and frivolity, we were all just exhausted, sunburned, fulfilled but ready to go back to regular life.

But, as the movement moves forward, it is important to remember those trailblazers who were once forced to endure closeted lives of secrets and shame.

R Family Vacations was founded in 2003 by Kelli Carpenter, Rosie O'Donnell and Greg Kaminsky to address the unique vacation needs of LGBT families and their children. The company's travel programming centers around providing safe and family friendly vacation packages for the entire LGBT community. R Family launched it’s maiden voyage in July 2004, a cruise consisting of 1600 passengers, including 600 children.
